Losing 8 hours of your life is a frightening. Ok so more like forgetting but, I can't remember a thing...
So this is what a concussion feels like. It's rude, it's painful, and it makes the world go in big loopy circles whenever you stand up too fast.

What Happened?
(This is non-existant in my memory; this next part is from witness accounts).

Well, we decided to put Autumn (my horse) into a new bit, true a stronger bit (curb), but she's getting on to more challenging movements and I need a harsher bit to control more, (It's not being used in a harsh way, just a stronger signal for her to do different patterns). Anyhoo after a warm-up on soft contact I picked up the reins to get a better feel of her mouth. She resisted and apparently (I don't remember a thing) she started to back up uncontrollably. Then she tripped over-herself and landed on her side (aka me). I smacked my head pretty hard giving my mild concussion (thank god I was wearing my helmet) and my leg hurts after having 1530 lbs of horse lay on it, but otherwise I'm ok. Well to tell ya the truth my wenis got pretty raped by the arena so I don't know when it will be up and running again.
So I got rushed to the ER and got a CAT scan, none of which I remember, and kept asking the same questions...
1. Was it my fault that Autumn fell or hers?
2. Is Luke going to Prom with me?
3. Why was I so stupid and went out with Max?
4. Is Autumn ok?
Basically those four questions on a loop for 4 hours until I finally started to piece things together.
Anyhoo I'm ok. My whole right leg is a bruise, my wenis has a nasty abbraision, there is a lump the size of my palm on the back of my head, and my left hand has the "fall-asleep" kinda feeling that won't go away (pinched nerve maybe).

Never personally knowing what happened in those 8 hours is going to haunt me for awhile. I thank God or whatever diety was watching over me today and feel blessed that I get another chance to see all of you again.
